Malaysia's first regulated IEO platform has its first deal — and it looks nothing like a crypto token sale.
Kapital DX (KLDX) has debuted the i-INT Programme, a RM150 million tokenised, Shariah-compliant fixed-income offering issued with Integra Healthcare Technology Sdn Bhd. The instrument carries a five-year tenure and a profit rate of up to 10% per annum; the initial RM29 million tranche was fully subscribed by institutional investors, with proceeds funding four rehabilitation centres.
Tokenisation, the Malaysian way
If you expected Malaysia's first regulated token offering to be a utility coin, this is the correction: it's Islamic fixed income, wearing new rails. Tokenisation here means fractional access, programmable distribution and eventual secondary liquidity for an instrument class Malaysian institutions already trust — with a real-economy use of proceeds attached.
KLDX has since flagged a pipeline including Malaysia's first tokenised renewable-energy infrastructure note. Between this and pitchIN's forthcoming token crowdfunding launch, the fundraising side of the SC's digital asset framework is finally producing deals, not just guidelines.
